On March 8, 2025, history was made as the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress (SNYC) Ekiti State Chapter became the first-ever recorded state election. This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in the growth and development of the organization, as it continues to make strides in uniting and empowering the youth of Southern Nigeria.
In his speech the President General said ; “I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Electoral Committee, whose dedication and hard work made this election a success. Chaired by Amb Damilola Obayomi, the National Representative of Lagos, and with Comr. Agbajie Samuel, the National Representative of Edo State, serving as Secretary, their efforts ensured a smooth and fair election process. I am immensely proud of them and their accomplishments, and I thank them for their unwavering commitment to ensuring the integrity of the election.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to the other members of the Electoral Committee for their support and contributions throughout this process. Their teamwork was crucial in the success of this election.
A special thank you goes to Comr. Prince Ayomiotan Adebusuyi Adeleke (Activist), the National Representative of Ekiti State, for his tireless support and assistance throughout the election process. His dedication and collaboration made the success of this election possible, and I am truly grateful for his efforts.
Not forgetting the Honorable Commissioner for Youths Ekiti State, Hon. Gold Adesola and the security agencies for their support during this exercise.
As the President-General of the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress, I am thrilled about this historic achievement. It is a testament to the collective efforts of everyone involved in the process. I am committed to building a stronger and more impactful SNYC that will continue to serve and uplift the youth of the Southern region. I look forward to more achievements and successes, as we strive for a brighter future for all the youth of Southern Nigeria.
